We are going to finish our basement bathroom, its a good size... 10 feet by 9 feet. When we framed up the basement our intention was to have a steam shower, toilet and sink.
After consulting with several plumbers, this is not going to work. We have in floor heating and the plumbing is no good, so we can not jackhammer the concrete with out causing some major expensive repairs. He said we will have problems with the shower backing up...etc....
We have decided that a toilet and sink will be sufficient. (Our upstairs has 3 bathrooms, showers and tubs). But we have all this space to fill. Anyone have some ideas that we could use to fill the space with out it looking like we threw it together last minute.
We are considering a infrared sauna.
All ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
