Basement Bathroom plumbing above floor

by Bill

Can a sink, toilet and shower be installed in a basement above the concrete floor and be joined in to the abs pipe that exists?

I know that the drain pipe would have to be angled higher at the point of grain and sloped accordingly to the abs connection.

Would this work? We are trying to get out of cutting up the concrete floor.

If someone can shed some light on this that would be great!
Thanks,
Bill homeowner

I am not exactly sure what you are asking about the existing pipe, but you would not want to flush a commode directly to to an existing sewer pipe that is above the commode.

Take a look at http://www.saniflo.com. They offer solutions for above the floor plumbing without major construction.

Good luck on your bathroom remodel.....
