Hi. I'm looking to remodel my bathroom. Essentially the project will be done in two steps:
-Replace fixtures (bathtub, vanity, toilet)
-Tile the floor and shower areas
Which do I do first?
I'm going to have a professional plumber install the fixtures and do the plumbing, but would like to do the rest on my own. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Well, since you are doing a complete bathroom remodel, and having a remodel professional install your fixtures and do your bathroom plumbing...... I would suggest taking care of the plumbing, and installing the bathtub.
At that point, you should take care of the bathroom floor tiling and the shower area tiling. You will want to do this part before placing the commode and vanity into the bathroom.
Placing tile before a bathroom vanity will give the bathroom remodel a more professional look, and placing the tile before the toilet installation is a necessity.
Good luck on your bathroom remodel!
