Cement Slab Toilet Flange Broken

by Darren
(Stillwater, OK)

I have a toilet installed on a cement slab and the cast iron flange that the toilet bolts to is broken. Any ideas on how I can install a new flange?

I found a flange at Lowe's that fits inside the existing pipe but it would make the toilet sit about a inch off the ground.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

There are specialty plumbing supply stores that sell different size toilet flanges.

You might try a 3 inch toilet flange instead of a standard flange that you will find at Lowe's.

Good Luck on your remodel!
