How do I move my bathroom sink about 1 foot to the right?

I am doing a bathroom remodel, and currently, I have a 60 inch vanity, and the sink is heavily on the left hand side of the vanity. About 1 foot to the left of the vanity is the toilet.

So, I want to get a new vanity that is 48 inches, the only problem is, all the counter tops we've seen have the sink hole in the center, which means our sink would have to move some to the right. Is it possible to move a sink in one direction without actually changing the plumbing? I'm trying to keep the costs down as much as possible.

Thank you.

You will not need to go under the house

You will not need to go under the house to do anything.... you can extend the drain by adding additional pvc pipe to the existing drain.

Good Luck1

Move the drain with a 90 degree elbow
by: DIY-Bath

You can move the drain. Cut the pipe where it enters the wall (below the drain trap).

Attach a 90 degree elbow joint, making sure to keep the flow of the pipe downward (to keep wather from gathering in the pipes), to the pipe entering the wall, and the other end to the drain with the proper connectors.

Good Luck on your remodel -
