How do you remove a bathroom mirror that was glued on?

Our Tips...
Thank you for submitting a question on our bathroom remodel how to page.

If the bathroom mirror (and not the frame) was glued directly to the bathroom drywall, you will more than likely shatter the mirror, so it is recommended that you mask the mirror with tape first.... you might then try to pry the mirror off gently....

One of the best ways to remove the mirror might be to simply cut through the drywall behind the mirror, and remove the piece of wall along with the mirror. You will then have the task of repairing the drywall. If you decide to go this route, be sure to seam the drywall completely and apply a coat of paint to the repaired wall.

Good luck with your bathroom remodel!!!
