To remove caulk.....

  1. Apply a caulk remover to soften the caulk

  2. Slice through the softened caulk with a utility knife

  3. You can use needle nose pliers to help remove larger pieces of the loosened caulk

  4. Clean the remaining caulk form the area with the tip of a 5-in-1 tool, or the top of a straight head screwdriver

  5. Kill the mildew on the surface using a solution of 1/3 cup bleach to 1 gal. of water. Use a paintbrush or foam brush to apply the solution

  6. Completely clean the area - allow to dry completely

  7. Reapply a tub and tile caulk in a fine bead. After applying the caulk, you can smooth it with the tip of your finger, or purchase a special tool to smooth the caulk. Allow the caulk to ry throughly....

Good luck on your bathroom remodel....
