we are remodeling and need advice on how to remove OLD tile from bathroom walls and shower. I started removing with a hammer and chisel, it is on concrete board, and it is very hard to get off and time consuming. Any suggestions????

Thank you for submitting a Bathroom Tile How To question...
... and congratulations on your bathroom remodel!
Removing old tiles from a wall can be one of the most daunting tasks you have to do in a remodel project!
You will just need to break the tiles off the wall. You will more than likely have to replace the cement board anyway, so don't worry about saving it.... you have it a little easier because you are not trying to save the board....
If you were replacing just a portion of the tiles, you would have to be more careful!
You might use a hair dryer or a heat gun on low to loosen the grout between the tiles!
Good Luck on your bathroom remodel!
