If the floor is wooden, you can cut portions of the floor out and replace them. The one thing that you need to check and make sure of is whether or not there is any floor damage under the bathtub.

When you remove the wood from the floor that you want to replace, you will be able to see portions under the tub. At this point, you might want to have a bathroom remodel professional take a look at it!

Other than damage under the tub, cut a piece of wood the sice that you want to replace, and nail it in.... usually this is some sort of sub-flooring. You might then need to replace whatever type of flooring you had over the wooden floor.

Good Luck on your remodel....
