Jacuzzi drain broken

Our Jacuzzi bathtub has a lever to turn and the drain pops up. Somehow, mine got disconnected and the lever just turns 360 degrees and is not attached.
When I pull up the drain there is a long folding rod. Obviously there is a piece missing. What can I do to repair this?

The easiest thing for you to do is to replace the existing drain. We would suggest removing the entire assembly, and replacing the bathtub drain with a simple lift and lock bathtub drain.....
