Redirect the flow of hot water in tankless system
Hello,
I have a hot water system that has a pump that pumps the water around the house in a loop so you can have instant hot water in the kitchen an bathrooms.
It has a timer on the pump that I set for the morning when I get up and go to work. The problem is that if I don't take a shower when the pump is on, it takes forever to get to the master bath. The tank is located only about 15 ' from the bathroom, which means (I guess) that my bathroom is last in the loop.
Is there a problem with me redirecting the outflow of the tank and the pump so that my bathroom is first? Basically reversing the direction of the water through the house? Is there a better way? I am not liking this instant hot water system. It costs too much to have the pump on 24-7.
Any input would be appreciated....
