How to install a tub and stand up shower?

I have a traditional bathroom with a tub/shower combination and 2 sink vanity. I would like to install a round tub with a stand up shower right next to it. I would like to do this at a minimum cost, and do this bathroom remodel myself.

How To question...

First of all, make sure you measure, measure, measure - make sure you will have enough room to place the shower and bathtub that you want to.....

Removing the old bathtub will be the hardest part of the whole process.....be careful...

When that is completed, you might check out the bathetub ideas page on this site - http://www.diy-bathroom-remodel.com/bathtub-ideas.html.

You will be able to use the same water connections for the bath and the shower - you will just have to add some pipes for the shower.... review our bathtub plumbing page for more information - http://www.diy-bathroom-remodel.com/bathtub_plumbing.html.

If you choose pre-built items, you will be able to do the job economically!!!
