Replacing a bidet with a shower

I need information on how to go about installing a shower where I currently have a bidet and the plumbing in place....

Thank you for submitting a question to our Bathroom Remodel How-To page...

After removing the bidet (or toilet), you will need to reduce the drain down to a 2 inch drain, and add a trap to block out the city sewer gasses.... to do this, remove the closet bend, remove the toilet flange, and then reduce the drain to 2 inches.

Add a 2 inch trap and a raiser to connect into the shower drain.

Good Luck on your bathroom remodel...
