Replacing corner shower with a tub/shower combo but not sure if bathroom is wide enough??

I bought an older home and want to replace my corner shower with just a basic all in one tub/shower combo. My problem is that all tub/shower combos seem to measure 60" wide and my opening in my bathroom is only 59" from wall to wall. It's a small bathroom. I am wondering if I would still be able to put in a tub/shower combo or if there is a place I can still get the 58" tub/shower combos and if that would work in my 59" opening?? I am sure cutting out sheetrock would help some. Any advice would be great! Thanks!!

S. I urge you to take a look at 4 foot bathtubs like the following 4 foot soaking tub and other 4 foot tubs that are available....or this 54 inch bathtub that are available....

There are smaller bathtubs out there, but I have not seen any tub / shower combos in the smaller size. You can install a smaller bathtub, and then tile in for a shower.

Good Luck on your bathroom remodel!
