Shower curtain for small enclosure shower

by Mamadele
(New Hampshire)

We have a very unusual shaped tub/shower enclosure. It is built into the eaves of the house, so the shape of the opening is triangular. It is all enclosed with subway tile, but designing a way to configure a shower curtain is a challenge. There is only 24 inches at the top where a small rod could be placed.

Our Response
Thank you for submitting a question on our bathroom remodel problems page.

First, what a neat design, and a great way to use a small space.

There are several things that you could try. There is a website that sells circular curtain rods.... you may be able to find one to fit... www.showerrods.com.

You might also try just a small 2 ft shower rod - it would not cover your entire tub width, but it might help.....

Good luck on your bathroom remodel....

Try a StayDry System Shower Curtain
by: Tom Bryce

I would suggest that you put a StayDry System Deluxe shower curtain, however modify how you would hang it.

This curtain creates a reuseable water tight seal against any shower wall.

I would hang the first 2 ft of curtain on a small shower rod, then put a series of small "C" hooks on the slanted slope to match the rest of the shower curtain eyelets and hang your curtain. Finally, I would install a larger "C" hook at the lowest spot of the sloped ceiling and then hang the StayDry tube and curtain.

Another customer of ours has done this same installation succesfully. Good luck
