My husband and I are remodeling our very horribly outdated master bath. We replaced the ceiling tile first because it was severely water damaged.
Our steps in the project will be...
to repair the uneven floor (from carpet to tile), tear the panneling off the walls and put up bead board, replace the toilet, tub, sink/counter, vanity and all of the trim.
Now this is a long list and we are doing one project at a time. We were unable to decide where to start, my husband wanted to go from the floor up and I wanted to go from the ceiling down. I figured why replace the floor first and then do all the other work on top of our brand new tile? But now I am not so sure... I have no idea where to go next, if we work our way down the walls would be next. But since we are ripping up carpet, leveling the floor and then putting down tile, I'm wondering if we should do it next? Considering it will most likely be the most difficult... Any tips would be much appreciated! Thank you =)

It is just my opinion, but I would do the floor next.... it is a tough project with all that you have to do to re-level it, etc....
You might go ahead and tear the paneling off the walls while you are removing carpet and leveling the floor... that way, you have all of the tear out work completed, and can then lay the floor, and put the new wall board up.
Good luck on your bathroom remodel....
